Position Overview

The Equipment Manager reports to the Director of Agronomy and/or the Superintendent and/or Assistant Golf Course Superintendents and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairing of all golf course equipment. This role includes diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining accurate parts and labor records, and ordering parts and supplies as needed. Safety is a top priority, and the Equipment Manager is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe service area and maintenance facility.

JOB SUMMARY:

Beaver Creek Golf Course is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Golf Course Maintenance Mechanic. This candidate will have a strong knowledge of golf course maintenance tasks, be dependable, professional, team oriented and have great attention to detail and follow through.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and sets up all equipment and licensed vehicles used by the golf course maintenance crew. Maintains an adequate inventory of parts and supplies. Keeps the golf course maintenance shop in clean and orderly condition. Coordinates and schedules all daily/weekly/monthly/annual maintenance of golf course equipment.

Knowledge of-

• Repair of any equipment related to the golf course and golf carts

Ability to-

• Work closely with Golf Course Superintendent in a positive team environment
• Operate the equipment required for golf course maintenance.
• Deal effectively with co-workers and the public

Other Duties-

• Performs related work as required

Required Qualifications-

• Any acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills.

PAY:

• Part-time or Full-time during the season
• $45 - $60/hour
